Tamil cinema superstar Thalapathy Vijay has officially stepped into the realm of politics, announcing his entry on Friday, February 2, via his social media account, X (formerly Twitter). The actor, currently basking in the success of his latest film 'Leo,' revealed that his political party would be named "Tamilaga Vetri Kazham."
Vijay, who has a massive fan following, had been elected as the party president, a decision made during a meeting attended by around 200 members of the party's general council. The newly formed party has also appointed a General Secretary and Treasurer, along with the constitution of a Central Executive Committee.
